"Ruffle Scarf" Give-A-Way Winner

Ruffle Lace Yarn ScarfCongratulations to Darby E. from Nevada!  Darby was the lucky winner in the “Ruffle Scarf” Give-A-Way.

I would like to extend a great big THANK YOU to all who participated.

The outcome of my 24 hour crochet-a-thon…
I made 6 scarfs.  It takes approximately 4 hours to make a scarf.  It takes a bit longer for me because I use two different skeins in coordinating colors to create unique color combinations.  Some of that time is spent keeping the skeins untangled and opening the lace yarn up as you go.  I had someone tell me they made one and she said, “You need a lot of patience.”  … Agreed!

I will be featuring my technique and tips in an upcoming blog.

I still have my work cut out for me.
Ruffle Lace Scarf Style Tip:  Use a brooch or antique pin to add interest.

If you are wondering why there are only 4 pictures instead of 6 …
2 of the scarfs were snatched up before I could take pictures.

No time to make them yourself?

You may purchse them for $15.00 each
The scarfs measure between 62″ to 68″
Please feel free to contact me if you have any question,
or would like to request a special order.
