2 weeks ago I became obsessed when I saw the cinnamon roll crust recipe, pictured above. It was going around Pinterest and this blog is the result of my obsession.. I was so excited to serve it up that I forgot to take a picture before we cut into it 🙂Enjoy!
- Grands!® Cinnamon Rolls
- Apple Pie Filling
- (for the deep dish pie, I used 2 cans of rolls & 2 cans of pie filling.
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 cup flour
- 3 tablespoons butter, cut in to dry ingredients.
This recipe definitely gets 5 out of 5 dragonflies. I think it will become a family favorite when the kids come to visit (which is hard because they love my coffee cake too.) This is a rich dessert and is excellent with ice cream or for breakfast served with fresh fruit and coffee or tea.
Next time I am going to try cherry.
